Talking Ben is a cute simulation game that lets players interact with a talking dog. The same minds who created My Talking Angela and My Talking Tom created this game. If you got a kick out of those games, you'll also get a kick out of this one. Ben is an adorable talking dog that looks a little grumpy but will quickly become your new best friend. You never know what might come out of his mouth next.

The biggest part of the game is Ben himself. As soon as you open it, you'll see a cute and gruff little dog sitting in an armchair and staring back at you. Have fun pressing all of the different buttons on the screen to get different responses from him. Though Ben usually appears with a newspaper in his hand, he tucks it away as soon as you start talking to him. Make sure you have a good microphone on your PC to make him repeat some of your favorite phrases. Ben repeats every word that comes out of your mouth in his own unique voice, which will likely make you laugh.

Another nice feature is that you can record your chats. Simply hit the record button on the screen before Ben talks. Not only can you record the funny things he says, but you can also record the things you make him say. Talking Ben lets you share your experiences. You might move a copy to a different spot on your computer and upload it to Facebook or Twitter. Try sharing them on YouTube and watching the videos that others made as they played with Ben. You can even email your videos to others.

You don't need to worry about growing bored just talking to Ben. While similar games lack other activities, Talking Ben comes with plenty of built-in fun. Move your mouse across the screen and tap on it to tap on Ben. The way he reacts will depend on what you do. You can make him laugh or giggle when you tickle him in just the right spot or get him to grumble when you hit another spot. Though it can take a while before you find all of his reactions, you'll have plenty of fun seeing what he can do.

Talking Ben also has buttons that make the dog do certain things. When you click on one button, he'll let out a huge belch. Many younger kids get a kick out of seeing this. Another button lets him grab a drink. You'll also see a button that lets Ben eat. While Ben is usually a little grumpy, he takes pride in his education. That's why he usually smiles when you touch the photo of him in his cap and gown. As you keep playing the game, you'll learn that Ben retired after years as a chemistry teacher and still has a passion for teaching.

Head to the chemistry lab to get even more out of Ben. Click on the button on the homepage that shows a beaker filled with purple liquid to reach the lab. This is where you will see a variety of different lab equipment. You can use any of the test tubes to mix the colored liquids inside to see what happens. Though you can only mix two liquids at a time, you never know what might happen. There's a chance that Ben might make a tornado that rushes across the screen or an explosion that rocks the lab. You might even get lucky and create a huge man-eating plant that causes Ben to jump. No matter how grumpy he looks in other parts of the game, Ben comes to life in the lab.

Before you download Talking Ben, take a look at the privacy features. This game can track some of your activities and will log your location. It also tracks how long you play the game and what you do in it. Talking Ben can run diagnostics too, which comes in handy if the app freezes or crashes. You do not need to worry about the game sharing or selling your data though.

Talking Ben has some challenges, especially for younger players. When you open the game, Ben will appear on your screen with a newspaper in his hand. You can press different buttons and give him a poke, but he still won't put down his paper. It can take some time before you hit the right combo of buttons and actions that will make him drop it and interact with you. Once you get passed this step though, you'll love all of the things he can say and do as well as how much fun you can have in the lab.

The game does a smart job of placing all of the buttons you need on the home screen. Click on the movie camera button to record your interactions with Ben before you share or save them. When you click on the film reel button, Talking Ben lets you over all of the videos you shot in the past. There's also a button on the upper right-hand corner that shows a cat in a pirate hat, which lets you check out some of the other games in the series.

Use the buttons on the bottom of your screen to explore the things you can do in the game. Click on the bottle to give Ben a drink or choose the button with a knife and fork inside it to feed him. When you select the button with a dog on it, you have the chance to play with Ben and make him do various things. There's also a beaker button that takes you to the chemistry lab and a phone button that makes Ben pick up the phone. Use that button when you want to record or have a phone call with him.

When you play Talking Ben on your computer, make sure you link it to your social media accounts. When you click the social media button, the game will take you to your favorite page. If you aren't logged in, you have the chance to do so. You can then share your game experiences online and post your videos.

If you ever played My Talking Angela or similar games in the past, you already know what to expect from this one. Talking Ben doesn't really offer anything different from those games. Adults may find that it's a little too simple or boring. There are only so many times you can make Ben say funny things. You'll also find that there aren't many things you can do in the chemistry lab.

Some players also had problems making the game work. They tried to interact with Ben and found that the game didn't recognize their microphones. Ben would hang up the phone and go back to his paper when they tried to play. Another issue is that it often takes a long time for the game to load. It might take several moments for you to move past the loading screen. Talking Ben can also make your system crash, especially if you have a slow computer.

One thing to keep in mind about this game is that you need to connect to the internet. Even if you don't want to share videos or use social media, you need the internet because the game looks for available updates. Despite being an older game, the makers release new updates fairly often. You may also want to add a payment method to your account. While you can play Talking Ben for free, the game has an in-app store that includes items you can buy to go further and do new things.

If you're a fan of the games in the series, you'll love Talking Ben as much as you loved them. While it can feel repetitive at times, the game is fun for both adults and kids. Download Talking Ben to interact with a grumpy dog and have a great time experimenting in his chemistry lab.
